SEX THERAPY
Sexuality is a critical part of our lives. We develop as sexual beings from birth to death and there are so many challenges and opportunities we can experience throughout our lifespan. Although this is aspect of our lives is constant, we often times experience shame, guilt, anxiety, and neglect when trying to pay attention to it. Being a sex therapist is what drove me to the field of mental health. I want to be a supportive, positive other as you navigate and make sense of your sexual ups and downs.
Although my biggest professional passion is supporting people who have experienced sexual trauma (i.e. sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape, sexual violence, etc.), I am excited and ready to help you with whatever you need to discuss with a therapist. Topics may include: sexual behaviors, sexual function (erectile dysfunction, delayed or premature ejaculation, sexual pain, sexual arousal, concerning levels of desire (low or high)), sexual orientation, asexuality, gender identity, relationship structures (monogamy, ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, etc.), relationships after an affair, out-of-control sexual behavior, pornography use concerns, relationships and sex (partners with different levels of desire for sex, difficulty in experiencing orgasm, dissatisfaction with sex), sex outside the box (kink/BDSM, tantra, furries, other sexual minority groups), chronic health conditions and sex, and sex and aging to name some of the areas we can work on

I am a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). That means I’ve received a lot of training and supervision around providing sex therapy. If you have questions about what this means, please ask me!

Whatever it is that you want to talk about, I want you to know I’m here to support you. Ultimately, I hope you feel you end up empowered yet compassionate, strong yet vulnerable, and curious about what sex can look like in your life.
